EMPLOYABILITY COACHING

The impact of digitalisation, demographic and business transformations creates substantial challenges on concerned employees and their employer.

Employability coaching is a program conducted one2one or in small groups for participants who need to get back their purpose and meaning, be their own leader, perform at their best with full energy and engagement.

Workplace changes have a significant effect on older employees, the organisations they work for, government programs, social security and the employee themselves.

We have conceptualised a program to recognise the employees’ fundamental needs, values, interests, skills and abilities. These must be met by their jobs for them to choose to remain employed and adapt to workplace changes or a job change.

EAC combines workshops, group coaching and Walk&Talk sessions in nature. This gives us time to really walk, talk and learn. It’s a time when we can apply insights and reflect, surrounded by nature that has a strong effect in helping us to achieve our full potential.

EAC is retreat conducted in small groups of 5 -7 participants, at a location setting over 2 ½ days to give the opportunities to step away from everyday demands, reflect in a safe, non-judgmental space, find clarity, focus, direction and perfect problem-solving skills.

Before the EAC, we ask participants to follow a couple of preparation modules online and to use a specific health application over two weeks to give the trainer and coach a good starting picture of the participant before the camp.

The EAC program is outlined to stimulate and structure in a process to optimise employability of an employee in need. They will learn to:

● Have the energy and stamina to meet challenging contexts under pressure and highperformance demands

● Be more capable of getting the work done in an efficient and productive way.

● Maintain a healthy performance, resilience to stress and stay flexible to change.

● Act as a team player.

Key factors for an optimal EAC:

1. Energy
● assessment of physical, mental, emotional, behavioural status.

2. Engagement
● purpose, meaning and engagement + 3P’s.

3. Effectiveness
● skills to meet your job goals – personal attributes, smart stress, active recovery.

4. Expectations
● meet and follow company instructions, working environment, have a set of skills, knowledge and understanding for fulfilling the job.

5. Empowerment
● MOMP© (my one minute pitch) – readiness for the job and keep it up, remaining competitive, resilience, motivation, interactive, creative and drive EAC is also a method for building peer groups and turning good intentions into action.
